Default Roland Studio Capture and PT11 - anyone get this to work?

Has anyone gotten these two to work? I was pretty upset when I upgraded to PT11 and got a out of CPU error every time I opened a totally empty project. Finally tried a cheaper older device (echo Indigo) and the issue went away. I'm guessing that my Focusrite Forte will be fine too, but haven't yet tested

Anyhow it appears that even though the Roland StudioCapture works fine with PT10 it's a no-go with PT11 for now.

Anyone else have experiences here? While recording in PT10 and mixing in PT11 is a viable workflow, it's still a little odd, especially since the Roland works fine with Live, Soundforge, Maschine and every other recording package I own.

Thanks!

Well the weird part is it works great for me everywhere else as is - SoundForge, Machine, Live - and PT10. But something is off.

Oh well. I have a work around of sorts called PT10 so when I'm recording on location with my mobile rig (laptop+Roland) that's what I'll do.

And when I need to overdub after starting mixing in PT11, the Focusrite Forte is generally enough channels for that, and has better pres to boot.

Haven't tried it yet, but I assume you can't just go back and forth between PT11 and PT10 on the same project?

Maybe Roland needed to, maybe I did.

But following Craig's direction, I did a reinstall of the Roland drivers and so far it's working. I've not tried beating it up, but it's playing a pretty intense multi track project with lots of heavy effects and seems to he happy so far.

Couldn't tell if my drivers were old, but grabbing the latest and upping the buffer settings seemed to work.

(So thanks Craig - not sure if you were hinting there, but it seemed to help either way!)
