Trouble bringing up playback engine on startup
Its been a while since i fired up Pro Tools 10. The last time i tried to do so i was trying to have a yamaha mixing console work with it as a recording input device. sadly the said mixer isnt compatible with Pro Tools. I've now come back wanting to do some ercording and have connected my M Audio fast track to use as my I/O device and for some reason when loading up PT10 it doesnt allow me to bring up the playback engine/preferences menu on startup when i hold the 'N' key down. it just brings up a warning box saying how the ASIO driver isnt compatible, and doesnt allow me to change from the yamaha driver to the fast track when PT forces you to change it. This is very infuriating. doesn anyone know of a fix that doesnt involve a reinstall?

Re: Trouble bringing up playback engine on startup
Have you tried uninstalling the Yamaha driver?
You also may want to try trashing your prefs to see if that will help. |
