Default Bounce Problem

Hey,
I have an MBox 2, a Gateway Laptop and an external hard drive. I have absolutely no trouble recording, editing or playing back anything. It's actually quite nice. The problem comes when I go to bounce. I always bounce to WAV and sometimes after playback, the WAV is there just as I want it. Other time, the WAV appears to be non-existent. I've bounced 36 minute sessions before without flaw. But the next minute I go to bounce 6 minute sessions that just don't work. If I could get some help I'd appreciate it. I'll let you know anything about my system you'd like. Thanks
Thad

When you say they "just don't work" what exactly do you mean? Are you getting errors on bounce, or are the files bouncing and won't play back in a certain player? What exactly is the problem with the bounce?

They will not appear in the folder I bounced them to. I have absolutely no clue why. It works sometimes...

What's your buffer setting? It should be at 2.

I would try a "search" and go through all the drives on the computer for the file name that you created for the bounce. If that doesn't find it, then something is definately wrong. The search would eliminate the possibility that you inadvertently assigned the file to a different loaction.
