Midi crashes galore

Hi,

I'm currently using:

PT 2022.6.0
Mac OS Monterey 12.4

For the last few years, editing midi on PT has been a nightmare.

I recently emailed Avid support, who said they receive the same complaint frequently.

Sustain automation is recorded inaccurately and the ability to edit sustain info and note velocities stops working in every session after about 10 minutes.
This means I restart every session that I'm recording virtual synths in ALOT!

Does anyone know if upgrading will help?

This has been an issue for some time. I'm guessing it's time I move to Logic for creating and keep PT for editing & mixing?
