Protools 12.2 Update Not in My Account Yet

I have notice that I have not received the new update 12.2 in my account yet. Im trying to see If I can get that fixed. Thanks

Presumably you already have PT12?

If so, my guess is that you are a student on the 'four years of free upgrades' deal. Is that true?

If it is, you are in the same position as everyone else on that deal, so far as I know none us have the 12.2 installer links yet.

I've raised it in a support case with Customer Care, created by Jeffro (Thanks J).

My guess is they have only provided the installer links to people with an active support plan, and people on the 'four years of free upgrades' deal are an exception .... we are perhaps the only ones to have PT12 but no support plan.

Yes I have Protools 12 Edu with the 4 years of upgrade and I received 12.1 with no issues. I don't understand because even without a support plan Im still with in my 4 years. Its all confusing to me hopefully they get it situated

The problem is that, for the moment, Avid seems to have only issued 12.2 to people with a support plan in their account.

It seems that Avid 'thinks' everyone with PT12 has a support plan, and has forgotten the one specific group of people that don't ...yes, it's those people on the old student 'four years of free ipgrades' deal.

We were given a PT12 license, but not a support plan. Hopefully Avid will sort this out soon.

As a workaround, the Avid Application Manager is not bright enough to have used the same criteria. It will allow you to update to 12.2, which will get you the update quicker than waiting for your Avid account to be updated.

Thanks, Well I just noticed it to be in my account as of just now. I installed and notice its missing the new Bonus plug-ins for Pro Tools 12.2 I'm not sure if thats a separate download or what I guess Ill have to wait and see

12.2 is now in my account, thanks Avid.

11.3.2 is not there yet, hopefully they are working on it.
