Uninstall problem Digidesign MBox 2 Driver in OSX 10.7.3.
When it comes to recording, I'm still basically a beginner.
I just purchased a new Mac Book Pro which I want to do some simple demos with Garageband. I went to the Digitech/Avid site and downloaded a driver which powered up and recognized my older MBox 2. Then the problems began.... Garageband became either painfully slow or won't open at all. I had error messages that "detected a midi timeout", "midi settings not available" "Selected Driver not found -10202" and of course the MBox won't work! Apple says this needs to be straightened out on Digidesign/Avid's end, as I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled Garageband. I have a feeling any driver uninstall I have done is incomplete. Any ideas what's wrong? I hope this is enough information so one of you experts can help me out! |
