The point is that different CDRs/CD writer combos work better than others. Also, slower burn speeds can result in more distinct pits in the CD, resulting in an easier to read CD. This is how it is, and an afternoon of testing can result in an improvement in the quality of your CD burns. It behooves anyone who actually cares about sound quality to do some investigation. If you don't care, then great. If you do care, do some research, and you will be rewarded.
So, to answer the original question, YES, you do really hear that much difference in CDR media sound quality! saxhole |
