ProTools 3.4 and OS8.6

I'm running the freebie Protools 3.4 on a Motorola StarMax clone 5000/275. Works great, but I am thinking of upgrading to a G3 accelerator card, OS 8.6 (running OS 8.0 now), and reformatting HD for HFS+.

I have three questions:

1. Are there problems/issues running PT3.4 with a G3?
2. Are there problems/issues running PT3.4 with OS 8.6?
3. Are there problems/issues running PT3.4 with HFS+ Drives?

I'm running PT 3.4 on a 9600/200 w. NewerTech G3 upgrade and OS 8.6

No problems.

I don't know about HFS+, as I'm not using it.

I don't think any of the scenarios you mention have been tested or will be tested but here's my two cents on it...

The G3 processor probably won't be a problem.

Mac OS 8.6, probably won't be a problem but I don't know for sure.

HFS+ will be a problem if you plan on recording/playback from that drive. You should be able to install the application itself and launch it from an HFS+ drive but recording and playback to/from an HFS+ drive wasn't addressed until Pro Tools 5.0.
