Tracks in Pro Tools Out Of Key?
Hi guys, I'm having a reoccuring issue using Pro Tools that I still haven't been able to solve. I have Reason 6 rewired in pro tools and when I record a track at the beginning of the song and then try recording the same synth track later in the song and push record the notes are not the same. It sounds out of key and not the same as earlier in the song. Even when I duplicate the region I want to repeat later in the song for some reason they sound out of key and not the same as I had originally recorded at the beginning. Anyone else experiance this type of problem? I would really appreciate any assistance because it's stalling my project and I can't finish it without solving this.
Hardware: -Windows 7 64 bit -Pro Tools 8 M-Powered -Intel 3.2 ghz Quad Core Processor -M-Audio USB Fast track -M-Audio KeyRig 49 Controller -4 GB DDR3 Vengeance Ram (Temporary until my 12 GB DDR3 Corsair Ram ships in) -Reason 6; NI Massive |

Re: Tracks in Pro Tools Out Of Key?
Are you recording audio or MIDI?
Is it a lot (whole notes) out of tune or just slightly? One guess is that it is a sample rate drift/sync issue. |
