Default Firewire HD\'s approved/ recomended??

I'm getting 001 and was wondering about firewire drives vs. scsi + scsi accel. cards.

Seems like the firewire would be the way to go seeing as neither G3's nor G4's support scsi anymore...

What does Digi say about approving these drives?

Thanks.
