Where do plugin preferences file live?

I'm talking about the specifically preference file that stores the settings for factory/user default and which preset is specified for user default, and for the favorite plugins in the plugin pop-up menu.

This is on a Mac.

I think it stupid that so many 3rd parties are using my documents folder to park their documents.

/users/(you)/Documents/Pro Tools/Plug-In Settings

IO Setting, templates, grooves and other stuff is kept in this documents folder too.

Thanks Top Jimmy but I'm not looking for where the plugin presets live. I was very specific about what I'm looking for in the OP. These setting get deleted when preferences are deleted. So I know it's one of those files. Just don't know which one.

Isn't it the main Pro Tools preference file? I know I have to reset all my PI user defaults when I delete it.

To answer my own question (and echo Marsdy) I think it's in the one called "pro tools preferences" that's owned by PT. but the one called com.avid.protools.plist is where custom key commands are stored as well as plugin specific preferences.
