Default bouncing to mp3

hey guys,i'm tryin to bounce to mp3,I bought my code and used my pt7.0 install disk to install it.I went to bounce,it asked me for my code,I entered it successfully, but when I listen back to my bounce I get silence.I tried every bounce source I could but still nothin. Is it because I'm tryin to bounce recorded midi?Midi should go down should it not?I also chose sample rate-44100,and convert after bounce, everything seemed to work, but on playing it back, nothin but silence.I spent a good amount of time on this cause i like to figure stuff out on my own but,I got a feeling it's something easy i'm overlooking.pt7.0// winxp pro.//m-box2, thanks.

Are you making sure when bouncing that it's 16 bit and not 24 bit? Also, just curious, why Bounce to mp3? wav's better quality, and you can always convert wav to mp3 (or another file type) with a converter

hey, thanks for the reply.I'll check the bit.I want to go to mp3 so I can just quickly throw down something on a cd,go out to my car and listen to it,also I paid for it.So I just thought it would be quickest best way to do it,but I'm not against a converter if that works, ultimately,I just want it to work.If it works with something like "nero" I thought it should be even cooler in pt.

If you are burning it to CD to listen in your car, then you definitely want to bounce to wav, and then burn it to disk.

It must be a 16/44.1 wave file. The "unsupported" message is refering to a higher bit/sample rate bounce.
You should not burn as "data" if you are attempting to make an audio CD.
