iTunes Sharing to listen in the studio
hi. I'm in front of a dilemma...:
I need to listen to all my CD library in studio through itunes. actually music is archieved on a firewire lacie disk connected to the powerbook 17" in the studio's office. I've an airport net with an airport extreme base, an extreme bridge and an express for music playing purposes I own a lacie ethernet disk mini connected to the airport base I don't know if it's better to: 1) leave the things like this, actually I can open itunes on the studio's G5, whose library is aliased to the firewire disk, BUT i must leave the powerbook on and i must open a dedicated track in pro tools 2) put all my music on the ethernet disk, but i don't know if it can load music quick enouth when i'm importing from CDs 3) use something like Browsertunes and play the music through express, avoiding pro tools and using the web browser like a cd player Any suggestions? thanks,
