Default Session Start Time Question

I should know how to do this but....

I have a session of a 30 sec music track.

They sent me a 30 sec video I am to sync to.

They have 3 sec beep countdown on the beginning.

Musically, I have a drum intro that starts I believe on the "and" of 3.

They have placed my demo music so that this drum intro starts on FIRST PICTURE.

I need to now move my music ....not the video....so the session starts on first picture.

I should know how to do this but...

Thanks for any help!

Synch points, Alt/Option+H and Spot Mode are three that come to mind.

You could just go to the session set up window (command 2) and change the session start time to a new value that is 3 seconds earlier. Then click maintain timecode when it asks you at the end. Then import the video and place it at the new session start. That should do it.

Ah, too early for me. I thought he just wanted to move the audio, not the session start time. Then again, either should get the job done.
