Be aware - Spyware scam!
There are persons asking some seemingly absurd favors on certain forums pretending they need help. They would give you a file to download which has no audio in the session. It is really a spyware which steals your personal information like visa card/master card numbers etc. My visa card was compromised. They tried to make purchases with it but was unsuccessful. I am a broken TESS So be very careful and pay attention to people posting for help to convert files etc .

Re: Be aware - Spyware scam!
LOL... yah no surprise here mate... i dont deal with any one else's files unless i know them personally... sometimes they're not even aware of their own system being compromised so i just dont trust anybody... thems the breaks if you've really got issues...
i personally have yet to ask for anybody else to deal with my own files... and that will probably never change.. comes with being an audio engineer...
