Don't hold your breath for a PCI-X version.

Magma is currently not planning to develop a PCI version of ExpressBox 3T. One major hurdle with 'legacy' PCI compatibility involves the fact that the developer of the PCI card would have to provide software that enables the card to work through Thunderbolt technology. PCI and PCI-x cards do not work in ExpressBox 3T because ExpressBox 3T is intended for PCI Express cards only.
