Mass Storage Cards Inside Expansion Chassis
Digi compato suggests that other PCI based cards can be used within their expansion chassis....even ones that need 3.3v and 5v. Assuming this is true....here are some limitation questions:
1. Does this include SCSI (namely ATTO UL4D, and upcoming UL5D) and/or Fibre Cards (ATTO 3300, for example, not Apple Fibre card, and it would be used for Unity)? If so, what slot in the chassis? I've seen SCSI being used, but not fibre. 2. If the chassis can support 3.3v and 5v, could you use a card which worked in a G4, but now will not work in a G5 due to the voltage change? 3. Are Firewire cards supported in the chassis as well? 400 & 800? USB? Thanks Digi!
