Mac Book Air and Pro Tools 8
Is anyone using Pro Tools 8 LE with a Mac Book Air. I know they aren't officially supported, but wondered if anyone was finding them fine using the internal drive?

Re: Mac Book Air and Pro Tools 8
Considering it doesn't have a firewire port and it has a solidstate drive as your internal drive, no cd drive and it's more expensive than the entry level MBP I would be surprised you get a response from someone using one successfully.

Re: Mac Book Air and Pro Tools 8
Yeah, the lack of a firewire port pretty much killed the MBA as a viable computer for Protools. I think the SSD was just one option and a regular slow hard drive was available too. Again a single slow hard drive is not a good thing for Protools.
