Default Sound FX Library - Recommendations

Hey!

I´m searching for a Soundfx Library which contains Formular 1 racing
car sounds. BUT: they should feature all about ONE car (motor, breaks, inside and outside the car driving), not a "racing situation". Is there a recommendation from your side? it is urgent and recording is not possible
so far.

Thanks a lot!
Mubeau

Off the top of my head there is only the SOS (Sounds of Speed) but it features only a few Ferraris (1996 though) bys and pit stops and so on. It has more bys and stuff for indie cars and some Toyota racing cars which can pass as different sounding F1 cars. But NO on boards or so. You could fake an OB with a Porsche GT recording but this car is very rare. But in general you might be able to substitute it with any hi powered/ hi rev V10 or V12 car such as Ferrari/Lamborghini or maybe the new Audi R8, driven on a racetrack to the LIMIT!!! BTW they have to be paddle shifted (direct shift gear box) since the F1 has had this for years. So you might be out of luck but perhaps you can find someone who trades a Lambo or Ferrari set. These recordings do exist but are usually not published commercially.
Good luck!

There is one CD out there called "OPEN PIPE SYMPHONY" It has single cars on track, plus a few recorded from the rear on a dyno.
One thing though, they are 90s V12s, and V10s, which will piss off purists on late model F1 cars.
Also using a Renault recording on a Ferrari is blasphemy!!!!

THANKS VERY MUCH!!!

well, hmmm... are there more recent F1 type of cars?
Yeah a Renault-F1 Motor would fit perfectly!

Seems as if I might have to find a way out recording them...
Has anyone of you done this before?

Thanks a Lot!

You still have time, there's one more race in Brazil this season. But sitting on the engine cowl at 310kph might be dangerous!!!

Sorry I couldn't resist.

I have no clue where a modern (last 8 years) F1 recording can be had.
