Also, how much are the drives going to be, and the SPECIAL disks that you need to burn with. There's gotta be some sort of marketing tactic here...

Hey - its a start.
I really go through the discs, and usually have 100s of ugly discs enscribed with my favorite sharpie..

but this would sure make a nice little package to send the client home with... value added!

The site says the drives and discs will be more, but sheese... we all know how quickly prices drop on new stuff.

I think its great... better looking than my sharpie scribbled discs!

It's a hell of a start!! I think it's brilliant. I was bummed I couldn't order some to try.

I agree with you... Not trying to sound negative at all. C'mon you all know me! I think that it is way cool. Not sure how many bands would want that, but it may be a new craze ya know. I am all for it. The cool thing would be when you provide a MASTER to a client. Put there stuff on it, and your company LOGO with all the copyright info. WAY COOL!

I would buy it now if it was out. Not concerned with disk price, but wondering how much the drive is.

Yup 2004.... I would imagine that by Christmas of 2004 the prices will have already dropped.

The worst mistake i ever made gear-wise was buying one of those Phillips dual deck cd copiers when it first came out. I just had to have it... even at $600. What a waste of money...

But this is different... Like Doc said, you could put your studio logo on the disc, your name, contact info and its like a living business card... awesome!!!
