Pro tools 12.6
I cant see how anyone using pro tools 12.6 or even just pro tools 12 in general is looking pro in their day to day use in front of clients. Thats all i have to say.

Re: Pro tools 12.6
Use 12.6 and 12.5.2 everyday and working for UMG and with A List artists and works great. !! Maybe because we have dedicated Mac Pro Trashcans for this task and optimized to 100%
I can't say why but works great here. OSX 10.11.6

Re: Pro tools 12.6
Despite of a few known bugs and creshes, 12.6 rock solid here also.

Re: Pro tools 12.6
With respect to 12 in general... I run 12.4 with clients present daily. Very few issues.

Re: Pro tools 12.6
The facility I work at has been using v12.3.1 since May. I have upgraded seven systems over the last four months to v12.3.1. Is it error free? No. Do I have angry co-workers telling me that I need to revert them to v11.3.1? No.
Why v12.3.1 where I work? Because that was the first release of v12 that resolved issues I had reported to Avid. I look forward to testing v12.6.x after I finish upgrading the remaining systems to v12.3.1.

Re: Pro tools 12.6
I agree Pro Tools is the most unstable platform I've used.
most other DAW's don't need the amount of optimizations that Pro Tools need, they just work! It also baffles me how many people blindly defend pro tools, its like pro tools fanboys live in pro tools island. Have you tried any other DAW in the past 5 years? They're all ahead feature wise and way more stable. Pro Tools in 2016 is not what it was in 2006. Last edited by cabermonty; 10-12-2016 at 04:53 PM. Reason: grammar |

Re: Pro tools 12.6
I don't use Pro Tools because I want to look pro. I use Pro Tools because I've been using Pro tools for 13 years.
