I use one of these:-
Radial X-Amp http://www.radialeng.com/di-xamp.htm But that seems like overkill a little, just for one test… There are much cheaper re-amping boxes available though… The way I would do it would be this; record the a guitar straight into a good D.I. box into PT, then send that track output to the re-amping unit and then plug the lead that would normally plug-in to the guitar on whatever rig you are using and plug it into the re-amp unit… Apparently some D.I. boxes can be used backwards to act as a re-amper, but I can’t remember which ones, I will have a search… Cheers N |
