Video satellite problem

I use video satellite with Protools HD 10 and my Avid Media Composer 5 quit fullscreen playback after 5 min and i search the reason...

In MC Bin Preferences, increase auto save to 9999 minutes.

Or hold down the alt key when opening the bin to lock it from changes.

My configuration is Protools HD 10.3.5 and the current version of MC is 5.0.3.

Protools is running on Mac Pro 10.6.8 and AMC is running on PC Windows 7 - 64bits. I want to know the best format for AMC? I use DNxHD linked to AMA but i have a synchronization errors....

My first choice for fixing the issue would be to create a video mixdown to any of the DNxHD formats of your current complete sequence in AMC.
Then create a new 1 video track only timeline (with the same start TC as your PT session).
Edit the video mixdown on to that track. Then use this timeline for your Satellite connection.

MC 5.0.4.4 is the latest of the MC 5.0.x.versions. Lots of bug fixes in the whole series of 5.0.4.x. Going through the readme's for all of them this evening I did not see anything in those bug fixes that was specific to Satellite or full screen playback.

FWIW MC playback on Windows is picky about which NVIDIA display cards, drivers and the settings. Approved versions of Quicktime also plays a part. I have many of the readme's for MC 5.0.x.x if that information could help you.
