Default separate HD for BFD2 from audio files???

Im having some probs with PT crashing alot and the report always refers to BFD2 being the culprit. I moved BFD2 from my system drive to my Audio HD where all my recordings go, but now the same crashes occur even though BFD2 isnt on my system drive anymore. Do you think i should have a seperate drive for BFD2?? BFD2 is about 55GB.
thanx in advance

Make sure you're running BFD 2.1.0.47

It's recommended that you have the BFD samples on a dedicated separate physical non-system drive.

Crashes are normally due to exceeding the RAM available in Pro Tools... are you running any other VI's at the same time?

Check your version number - and post on the FXpansion forum with screen shots of your BFD2 Engine settings.

Cheers,

Rail

Use the ‘Load-on-demand RAM’ optimization in BFD2.1.
