Nice reviews on the native cards....Just curious if anybody has tried use the Apogee Vbus and Sbus technology with Pro tools? I would love to see how that responds, especially for me I use a lot of Virtual Instruments and Scoring. Thanks!!!

Vis a vis the HD Native mixer...

I haven't been able to find it since, but around the time that HD Native was released, I saw a post that I believe was from an Avid person that said the HD Native mixer was actually handled on the HD Native card.

I could be remembering wrong, or it could have been some bad initial info that was later corrected, but perhaps someone else either remembers the post or has more info...

I do not work for Avid (their loss)...my only relationship with Avid is that of a customer (when I'm not too poor to buy stuff, like now)...and that hot administrative assistant...that's more of a "thing" than a "relationship" (that should keep them guessing for a while...)

Just rockin'...what more is there?

That has since been corrected. The Mix Engine is not a duty of the Native Card.

Question, how can a 64-bit floating point mixer resolution run under a 32-bit floating point processing resolution?

Thanks for your comments Tom.

Any other users care to comment on HD/Native

I'll be using mine with 192's, getting close to putting in an order.

Thanks
