Default Dante AVIO Adapters

Hello folks,

Just saw this release from Audinate,
https://www.audinate.com/products/de...io?lang=es#usb

Nifty device I must say. I was thinking would this be possible (USB version) to finally enable AoIP or AVB to Windows for the S3? No information has been released from Avid nor Audinate regarding integration and compatibility. Still, I thought this was potentially interesting.

I'd figure Avid will compensate you for that. That's lame if they don't. I mean they should for your active involvement here in the forums. Just my two cents

Interesting product (the other versions, not the USB in this case.) Could put an S3 on a Dante network using the analogue in version and an analogue out version connected to the S3's analogue i/o. Don't know if it would be worth the hassle with the limited specs (or the cost)

I wonder if the USB version has any of the Dante accelerator chips on board. Latency from a standard ethernet port is still an issue for laptops whereas you can use one of the PCIe accelerators on desktop towers.
