Why did you buy the 003r when you had had a bad experience with the 002r?

I guess we'd like to know some specifics. Something like:

The the mushroom knobs are the best.
The audio sounds better.
The second headphone out is what I always needed.
I can't believe I lived without word clock all this time.
The mic preamps sound amazing.
My power harness is working.
I can tell the converters are 10 times better.
I can route my outboard gear so much better.
I no longer get buffer errors.
It even works with my Sempron or Celeron.
It works with previously incompatible chipsets.
I no longer need to record to a separate audio drive.
The lights are so much cooler.
(Some of these are sarcastic jabs at the most popular issues on this forum)

To simply say 003 = good and 002 = bad leave us asking "why?" I'm not asying it isn't better but since you clAim this is a review, some explanation would be more helpful. So it you have the time, please elaborate for us.

That's all too much "busy work." Trust me, it's better.

How can you tell it's better if no tests were done. Unless you recorded the same audio by the same mic into both systems at the same time and did an A/B back and forth between different sources, overheads, guitar cab, bass DI, Acoustic guitar, then there is no evidence to back up your claims.

You could be suffereing from the "It's new and improved so it's got to be better ear" spending money makes deceives our ears into thinking it's better. I may be wrong, but to make that claim, do the test first.

As we can see this 'Rick Anthony' fellow is extremely immature. He may have an 003 and is just bragging a tad....Let's just ignore this thread....There will be major professional reviews on the 003 in due time. No need to even bother with this thread at all.
