PT Dock vs. Artist Control
I'm seriously thinking of getting a Dock, but have been using the Control for several years now.
What are your pro's and con's of moving to the Dock for those of you who use to own an Artist Control?

Re: PT Dock vs. Artist Control
Hi,
I own both and am happy. Artist Control is a solid controller but the Dock is much better built quality and has a lot more screen space in the pad area and more controls. It’s only missing three faders compared to Artist Control. So I use my Dock with an Artist Mix and these two combined are awesome. The Artist Control is in my second control room and does a good job as well. If I need to choose I would definitely take the Dock as it is better in nearly everything. Best Mark

Re: PT Dock vs. Artist Control
Thank you Mark. Have you notice the Control a little 'jerky' since you've had it (latent scrolling at times, delays with buttons, etc?)? I was wondering if the Dock is 'smoother' in that regard?

Re: PT Dock vs. Artist Control
It’s physical controls respond better, there is no jitter or similar.
Do you use the Control App on an iPad or other tablet? It’s such a good help for me when I’m not in the studio. The physical controls of the Dock support it perfectly. I guess because you like the Control you will like the Dock even more. Like me... Buy it somewhere with a money back guarantee and try it out by yourself. Best Mark

Re: PT Dock vs. Artist Control
I dont use any tablet right now because it never synced well with the Control, but I think I'm going to go to the Dock :).

Re: PT Dock vs. Artist Control
Curious, if you turn off Auto-Launch for EuControl, do your jerks/delays go away?
