pro tools 8 m- powered on 64 bit vista?

Hi all,
I recently bought the m-powered pro tools 8.I use a fast track pro m-audio sound card and my pc is a laptop with 500GB storage space and 4 g ram.
Althought i tried to install everything properly i am having a problem when i try to launch the pro tools 8 where i get a message coming up : DAE error - 130001
and it crashes...does anyone has any idea what the problem might be ????
I am running it on 64-bit vista home premium.
any help?

Pro Tools is not supported for use with 64-bit Vista. That may be your problem. If you search the DUC here, you may find a workaround, but it might be easier to just go with XP.
