Default Pro tools Finding Drive

Hi folks,
Here is an intersting one.
I have a wesern digital drive FW drive and 2 Glyph X project drives, Today I ryed to start PT and the western Digital drive starts spining, and then I get a messege saying PT has quit, when it hadn't actualy started.
So I shut down and restart with out theestern Digital switched on and all is fine.
I noticed that there is Digidesign Database Files folder with a Cache.wfm and volume.ddb file on that drive.

I need to use the WD drive,
Any advice would be great,
thanks.

You should try to:
-trash any digi folder installed on that drive (Digidesign database in the first place... The two others are temporary files which should have disappeared after quitting PT but since it has crashed...).
-start PT and then connect your FW drive, see what happens. If the HD actually mount, take that opportunity to check its status in the Workspace.
Good luck.
