Default Import session data not importing regions

After upgrading to HD 8.1cs1 when I import session data and want to bring in regions everything comes in except the audio regions. All the correct settings are on tried both copy from source and link from source. No regions..this is very crucial to my workflow since my assistant edits on another CPU.

When will we see a fix for this?

Make sure the button labeled "Import Main playlist" is selected. (I think that is how it's labeled, but it's something along those lines).

Hi,

Its working fine! as mrbobb said check you have selected to "import-replace existing playlists" and in the "track data to import" pull down menu, make sure you have selected regions etc.

this pic might help...

Hi,

In the pulldown list you definitely got "regions and media" ticked!!!

If it was a bug we would all be getting the problem!

Have you trashed all prefs and rebooted?

If that doesn't work then trash prefs re-boot and re-install PT

It works fine here on 8.1cs1... It may be a "bug" within your system. Please tell us what troubleshooting that you have already done, so we don't guess. tanks, ff

this is a bug
as I was doing import and the regions found their place for the 1st 4 sessions [ new remote recorded vx brought into master session] then the last 2 didnt... the regions went into the right hand files bin and the tracks were empty... so I had to fish them out line up each take, and find pieces etc... Fkn PITa
and yes everything was checked
