Windows Media Player & Pro Tools
I have an HD system running on Windows XP. I am not getting any sound from Windows media player even though I've set an output on the Pro Tools interface to be used by WMP. Anybody know how to get this working?

Re: Windows Media Player & Pro Tools
I cant help you with your problem specifically..but i would say dont bother!
I tried getting WMP to work successfully for a year. The main problem is the driver seems to loose sync randomly and the sound quality suffers terribly (same with iTunes). I gave up in the end and bought Winamp Pro for a mere £10 and it works flawlessly. No idea why this works where the others dont but hey..It also plays 24 bit files which WMP won't. There is a free version too that works almost the same. Lifer
