Media Player, CD Player in pro tools

I use my Pro tools (Digi 001) setup to play my guitar thru while playing along with cd's. Is there a way to play a CD in pro tools without ripping the files and loading them into pro tools. Something like a REWIRE or RTAS plugin for windows media player?
