AD8000 with HD

Hi all
Just upgraded to HD with a 192 i/o and the Digiwire-upgraded Prism ADA-8, all good save one problem. An Apogee AD8000 attached to the Legacy Port of the 192 produces a seriously distorted analog output, particularly on transients. I have tried all different Loop Sync and Word Clock patches but no luck (the studio runs off a DCS Master Clock). I know people are running AD8000s in HD without problems, any ideas?

To use your AD-8000 via the legacy port, it's essential to install the last version of Digi8+ card firmware, made available in August 2000. Remove the Digi8+ card and check the version number enscribed on the EEPROM (a rectangular socketted chip); it should be 3.10.
