Default Click goes out of sync when recording

Hello

I'm having trouble while recording a bass line with the Click instrument. when i start to record, the click goes fine for about 10 bars and somewhere in that area starts to go out of sync and looses the whole metronome. sometimes it will settle back to normal. i have no clue whether it has to do anything with the buffer size (128 while recording) or any thing else.

thanks to anyone who could be an assistance

Typically I record my click to audio, for visual as well as sonic reasons. While I can’t explain you unique issue, you can avoid it by doing what I do. Record a bar and loop it.

This can happen if you are running a multi-core processor, and running a pre-SP3 version of XP without the
microsoft "Dual Core Hotfix" installed.
