importing files (mp3 an wav) to protools is taking forEVERRRRR......
whats good?
so, lately, when dragging MP3's or WAV files into protools (that's usually how i import stuff into protools) its taking HELLA long for the files to acutally load onto the tracks......i thought it was a ram issue, so i just upgraded from 5GB to 9GB of ram, an its still taking quite a bit of time for the stuff to actually appear when i drag the file onto the track.... does anybody have any idea what might be causing this, an more importantly, how i can improve the loading time?? (also note, my Hard drive is pretty maxed out, i was wondering if that had anything to do with it....) Thx in advance!!!! |
