Default Busses

Hi all!

I just switched from Logic TDM to PT8 and I might be stupid but when I route all my drumtracks to a Bus I cannot sololisten to the bus.
In logic that was no problem soloing a bus (At least not in Logic 7, Logic 8 has some bugs there)
If I group the drumtracks and the auxfader I can solo them all.
Is that the way to do it in Protools.

Nick

Command-click the solo button on the aux to solo-safe it. It should grey out when you do it.

Yes, and with the aux solo-safed you only need to hit solo for the drum group when you want to hear them. Thought that's what you wanted?

I think what you need is to go to modify group and click off follow globals, now all your drum group will solo.

And for some annoying reason, solo seems to never be selected in the Global selections when grouping. This has been brought up elsewhere on the DUC...
