Good Reverb plug in needed
Hey
I am currently in the process of upgrading my MBox2 to a 003 Rack (running PT LE 8) and wanted to purchase a reverb plug-in - I've never bought one before, and have always used DVerb which I am starting to hate!!! I primarily record demos for my band but have a little money and wanted to get something that is not too expensive but not too cheap as I want it to sound significantly better on vocals and guitars than DVerb - I'm guessing £250 or something but I really don't have a clue about this at all. Can anyone suggest anything? Is this too much/too little to spend? Thanks in advance Phil iMac / PT LE 8 / 003 Rack |

Re: Good Reverb plug in needed
Why not try the Redline Reverb from 112db?

Re: Good Reverb plug in needed
get the music production toolkit. not only do you get TL Space (a fabulous reverb) but you get the track count upgrade, Hybrid (which is awesome as well), the full version of Eleven with the extra amps cabs and mics, and some other odds and ends for about 350 USD.

Re: Good Reverb plug in needed
I just downloaded the 60 day trial version of this. From downloading to using in a session just now took 5 mins. Have to say I am hugely impressed with the presets alone. I'm gonna buy this when my trial licence expires. I can't believe it's only £90UK and I still get two months before I have to purchase! Excellent recommendation.

Check out DUY Zroom of the EverPack bundle. I think it is primo for a room sound on a mix. A demo is available.

Hmmm, the link on the website appears to be broken. Might try again tomorrow.

Re: Good Reverb plug in needed
I've heard good things about Altiverb but in the UK it's approx £420.
As a man of modest means I have to say Redline has won me over with it's £90 asking price. I suppose reverb can be subjective though and it depends also on how much of a purist you are. I've seen some lengthy discussions over on gearslutz. Hmmm, I wonder what Phil Spector would have thought?
