Default Is the 002, and it\'s default settings enough?

Hey all, I just had a question for you Digi 002 wiz's. Do you think that the 002 rack on it's own, with the plug-ins and all it comes with - is powerful enough to create good music? Or do you feel that you NEED extra plug-ins, additional software, external mixers, etc.?

It depends on what kind of music you're trying to make. You can do quite a lot without buying anything extra.

The most powerful hardware and software on the planet cannot create good music - that's up to you!

^ i was just asking for member opinions... I am not what your reply was, lol...

anyways -- I like PT so far, I'm getting a good grip of it (thanks to alex). and I'm starting to learn new things. The EQ'ing on PT is "boo", somewhat.... but also has it's ups.

I wish I had the extra thousand for the 002 board, so I could physically touch faders, instead of using the mouse... boo @ that part..

PT seems to be more than enough for me to make hiphop/rnb/soul/instrumentas and such...

I don't understand what you don't like about EQ on PTLE. It's easy-to-use and effective, and can be automated. What more could you want?
