Waves The Abbey Road Chambers AAX
Waves The Abbey Road Chambers AAX, very excited to try this plugin today, it sounds amazing.
Problem is it just hogs one core in my 12 core machine, spiking the main usage making it pretty much unusable at 96k love to hear how other people get on, I didn't expect this from Waves, you kind of see it from some smaller developers. And it's depressing as I have 2 HDX cards, and no DSP version.

Re: Waves The Abbey Road Chambers AAX
Holy s&*t, that's insane!!. A matching bookend for my Plates reverb!!
I'm willing to be this uses the same engine as the Plates reverb, which I'm also willing to bet uses the engines in H-Reverb and the EMI-TG strip... meaning they will be resource heavy, but the benefits could be well worth it. For a moment, I thought it was a reverb emulation of the actual studio space, but I don't think AR would let anyone emulate those!! |

Re: Waves The Abbey Road Chambers AAX
Instant buy for me. Unique textures and huge versatility. The filters, delay and boost EQ are very useful additions and the launching price is highly appreciated.

Re: Waves The Abbey Road Chambers AAX
Would I be correct in assuming this uses the new WavesHell which isn't supported in Yosemite?

Thinking to use a second computer to run this plugin under Logic, and just use I/O to access. Amazing plugin! at a great opening price.

Re: Waves The Abbey Road Chambers AAX
I know it's bad form to reply to one's own post but it's true - one needs El Crapitan or higher to install this. For those of us on Yosemite or lower because of whatever PT version we're using are out of luck on this gem

Re: Waves The Abbey Road Chambers AAX
Code JULY25 for 25% off at Waves, through Sunday, I believe.
I think I'm going to pick this one up.
