Eucon 3.6.1 S3 LCD font oversized?

• Uninstalled EuCon 3.6
• Restart
• Installed EuCon 3.6.1
• Restart
• Uninstalled Pro Tools 12.7.1
• Restart
• Installed Pro Tools 12.8
• Restart

Pro Tools | Control & Pro Tools | Dock now working as expected


S3 working, but with enlarged fonts. Not a show-stopper, but certainly a bug that needs to be fixed. Expect better QA for the software from a $7000 Control Surface...

I have found the issue and yes it is to do with Windows Display scaling. The graphics on the surfaces are drawing by EuControl so if you have the setting zoomed this will cause the issue. In v3.6.1 we fixed the way this worked on the Mac and unfortunately some common code now effects Windows. Both OS's keep changing the way this works so its a cat and mouse situation.

I have engineering working on this right now but in the meantime the best work around I have found is to set the scaling of the offending Monitor to 100%, reboot and launch EuControl. Then set the scaling back to whatever it was (if needed). EuControl will have the correct font sizes until the PC is rebooted.

As for the incorrect version message we generally see this when installing and uninstalling and part of the previous release was left behind. Also a complete power cycle including the iPad helps.

I don't have an ETA, but I can say that an engineer is working on it at the moment (Its a holiday here, but as soon as they get back in on the 5th he'll continue)
