Default Re: APFS or Extended Journaled for session drive?

I've been tinkering and learning alot on this subject. NVMe is what I'm using for my system drive and SSD slot bay for samples. I'm currently trying out both AFS & Extended on two separate PICe NVMe drives and seeing after a while how the fare with time.

If you have the old cheese-graders I think it's very important to read on why clearing the NVram is not clearing the VSS stores correctly and any 4,1>5,1's are bricking.

Also many Mac pros are still using the older bootrom, unless you are on a 2012 pro.
