Who's using SSD for their system disk with PT?
I'm pretty sure Avid still doesn't recommend SSD drives for either system or audio drives, but I don't see how it could be a problem for the system drive.
Is anyone using an SSD system disk with Pro Tools 9 without any problems? I'm thinking of putting a 240GB SSD in my new MacBook Pro.

I am using a OCZ Vertex 2 on my MacBook Pro (5,3). No issues.

Out of curiosity, are you able to run (small) audio sessions from your system drive without problems. I don't do this normally, but now and then I might start a new song with my laptop alone, or work on small sessions on my internal drive.
I wouldn't want to give up this option with my MacBook Pro.

Re: Who's using SSD for their system disk with PT?
I use to successfully record live stereo recordings on an Mbox 2 running LE 7.x on a Dell Latitude X1 with a 4,800rpm 1.8" internal drive running Windows XP. That was a 1.1gHz Core Solo machine with 1.25gB RAM.
