Default Newbie HD Question

Hi All,

I just setup my new HD1 rig and I'm new to
Protools. When I open a session and press play the first time, it plays immediatly, but after a few times, I get a delay of about 4 seconds before it actually starts to play. A little spinning hand appears on the desktop while its waiting . The hand goes away and then the session starts to play. Any Ideas on why this happens?

Default Re: Newbie HD Question

Is your disk cache set to 512k? If not then you can change that in your memory control panel.
