Default Boom plugin

I installed the plugins that were on the installation cd, which included boom, but it's not showing up in pro tools. I am using pro tools 10 on windows 7.

Hi,

The instruments are a separate installer, check the install disk, or login to your avid account where you'll find the instruments installer.

Ditto. And then, once you're up and running, make a "Stereo Instrument Track," go to your inserts, then to "Instruments," and pick Boom. You should be making beats in no time.

I installed virtual instruments from the CD that came with Pro Tools when I installed the plugins. But, Boom isn't showing up in Pro Tools.

Try to download the virtual instrument installer from here:

http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/d...ls-10-2-Update

Click view available downloads near the bottom of the page and choose the appropriate one.
