IF i had the money i would just trash the ones i have and move elsewhere. MacDsp is the only thing keeping me from going all in with PT 11 on my win 7 machine

So MacDSP updated their website and made it even harder to tell that the AAX 64bit Plug-In they are trying to sell you are not Windows AAX 64bit. It talks all about Pro Tools 11 and AAX 64bit but not one mention that they don't work in Windows.

Which ones are you relying on? I have found replacements for all my mcdsp stuff.

I would love to have my McDSP ML4000 and the Channel G compact and Revolver again.

Channel G is very cool. I have been using the Metric Halo as my goto channel strip now. It sounds GREAT!! Really, the Metric Halo bundle does replace most all of the Mcdsp plugins. It has a nice multiband!

It's reverb does not compete w Revolver though. I use Reverberate for my convolution verbs. I have Revibe as well which is closer to Revolver in how it works, but Reverberate is much more flexible IMO.

I saw that too. Looks like they have since revised it to indicate a Windows release is upcoming again. I emailed support to try and find out the status but haven't heard back yet.

I truly believe that you can't replace the McDSP ML4000 for your final Mix Compressor/Expander Module. I have been using Maxim but you have no real control with Maxim. I need myML4000 in Pro Tools 11. I decided that when Pro Tools 11 I wasn't going to use PT10 at all anymore and I only went back once to use my Waves GTR Solo but I even have that in AAX 64bit now. MacDSP is the only thing I need now after I got the Native Instruments VI yesterday.

I agree. To my ears, nothing really replaces the ML4000. It's very sad that this is still missing for Windows systems.

I am in love with the Sonnox compressor. Sounds killer, incredibly flexible, can be transparent or colored, includes a built in limiter, gate, expander, coloration, etc. It's just great. I did not start into Sonnox until this 64 bit transition and the limited selection of plug ins available. They have become my new favorites, just pricey. Metric Halo have also really stepped up the competition. They have also become part of my regular to to plugs.

I have done nothing more than demo the ml4000 so I will not comment as if I do. When I do go for a multiband, the Metric Halo is first but can't comment on comparisons.
