Elastic audio assigned to imported tracks
I have a template which I've used for a while with no issues. Lately, a few times when I have imported audio files by drag and drop into the track list, they tracks come up assigned to a tick timebase and set to polyphonic elastic audio. I checked the prefs and the import in tick timebase is not checked. Time to trash prefs or is there something I'm missing here?

Re: Elastic audio assigned to imported tracks
I think there's three places you need to look at in preferences:
"Drag and Drop From Desktop Conforms to Session Tempo" in "Processing" (probably should be set just to "REX and ACID files only" "Enable Elastic Audio on New Tracks" also in the "Processing" tab (unchecked) And "New Tracks Default To Tick Timebase" in the "Editing" tab (unchecked) Make sure those are set correctly.
