lightpipe input stopped working

Anybody ever had thier lightpipe interface device just all-of-a-sudden stop working? I know signal is getting into the Digimax (can see lights corresponding w/ signal just as they always did), but there is NO communication to the 001 PCI card anymore. I even bought a new mobo & processor (AMD XP 2100+ & pure VIA mobo), built the new system & got exactly the same result.

did you set your digital format as ADAT at your hardware setup?

Do you mean to set the clock/sync thing in hardware setup? Yeah, it didn't make a difference though. It should get a signal even without doing that - along with pops & clicks (I know because when I first got the Digimax I neglected to do this). I should say that it was working great for almost two months before it just turned invisible to PTLE one day. I'm beginning to think my card broke, which really sucks because I only bought it in June & I'm in the middle of a pretty important project.

I mean the ''Optical Format" at 'Hardware Setup'

hm.. and just a reminder, the direction of your in/out cable is correct.. I did it wrongly once before.. ehehheh

I think that's set correctly but I'll double check when I get home. I'll also check the cable & try a different one, now that I remember I have a spare. Thanks for the input KK.
