Default Pro Tools 9MP and Fast Track Ultra

I'm looking to identify the steps necessary to record 7 mics simultaneously using the Fast Track Ultra and Pro Tools 9MP. Because inputs 5 and 6 of the Fast Track Ultra are line level, can I use a Moble Pre unit for its pre amps and then use the Mobile Pre's outputs to the Fast Track Ultra's inputs 5 and 6? If so, and that works what do I do to accomidate mic 7?

I don't think the MobilePre supports stand-alone mode (FastTrack Pro does acc. to the manual). You could also consider buying a small mixer and use the main outs and group/aux outs or direct outs.
