They are as expected! simply awesome and the Hi Filter on the 2A and 3A is a nice addition. Going to be my go to compressors for sure!!

Good to hear. I switched to their JJP Fairchild plugins from the BF version simply to have better DSP sharing and allocation, so by moving over to the 1176 and LA2A plugins--that will help even further on my large sessions.

Keep in mind that if you have Waves TLC, and you are past six months of WUP, downloading this will CANCEL your TLC until you re-WUP.

I would love to download these, but I can't. Even though I paid for WUP, and have five months left. Because if I do, I will lose TLC. And if my iLok gets lost, stolen, or broken, these "free" updates will have cost me many thousands of dollars.

If you have TLC, think twice.

Haven't been very happy with the PuigChild and the other so called vintage compressors from Waves. But this trio is filling me heart with warmth. Nice Job waves.........

besides they really do sound better

I love the new CLA's! been on their testteam, but would not post here if I felt they weren't great! Through the test cycle I've started to use them more & more and ever-since they truly have been part of ALL my mixes!

don't take my word for it, just check 'm out and I am sure you'll love em, very musical sounding compressors. Still i love the "rock" feeling of the API compressor but tend to use that one more on groups or on a whole mix
